It hasn’t been a week yet, and I’m still trying to focus on other things. You know I love you and always will, and our lifetime worth of memories together can never be erased. I’m trying to stay strong for mom, and give her support now, but that just means distracting her. If we stop to think or talk about how amazing you’ve always been… It just hurts a lot. I can still hear your laugh! I know you’ve lived a long life and I hope you were happy, but none of us were prepared to part with you. I think you know it by now, but Diane is pregnant… you were going to be a great grandmother, again 🙂
